[Hiring] Summer 2027 Intern: Talent Acquisition @Assurant

Role Description

The Assurant Internship Program is a 12-week immersive experience where interns do not sit on the sidelines. You will gain real-world experience by tackling business challenges and helping drive meaningful outcomes. The program combines hands-on work with learning and development opportunities, mentorship, networking and engagement opportunities, and resources designed to support your professional growth. This program offers students meaningful, real-world experience while building foundational technical and business skills in a Fortune 500 organization.

Assurant is seeking a motivated People Organization (HR) Intern to support strategic initiatives within the Talent Acquisition (TA) organization. This role will focus on enhancing the hiring manager experience through:

• Survey development
• Process documentation
• Content creation
• Analytics support
• Change management

This internship offers hands-on exposure to:

• People Organization operations
• Instructional design
• People analytics
• Cross-functional project work

You will be part of a dynamic team (Talent Acquisition Optimization) that is at the forefront of driving large scale technology change for the Talent Acquisition function.

Qualifications

• Strong interest in Human Resources or Talent Acquisition
• Excellent communication and writing skills
• Proactive and strong initiative – see a need and support it
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
• Curiosity around emerging technology and Artificial Intelligence (AI)
• Experience managing multiple priorities and projects in school, extracurriculars or past employment
• Experience creating visual presentations. Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Enrolled in an accredited US based University (working towards a Bachelor’s degree) with an expected graduation date of December 2027 to Spring 2028

• Must be work authorized in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future
