Role Description

We're growing our Talent Acquisition department and looking for an experienced Senior IT Recruiter who can drive the process of finding and onboarding top-notch engineers throughout Latin America. In this capacity, you'll consistently partner with hiring managers, come up with inventive ways to discover strong candidates, and play a direct role in shaping outcomes for niche and challenging technical searches. This position suits someone who enjoys wrestling with complicated hiring puzzles, feels comfortable digging into numbers and trends, is enthusiastic about testing AI solutions, and is always hunting for better hiring methods.

• Oversee the entire hiring pipeline for technical positions across Latin America, starting with early conversations alongside hiring managers and market investigation, and wrapping up once a candidate accepts an offer.
• Hunt down talent for specialized engineering roles that are hard to fill by making use of sourcing platforms, dedicated communities, referral pipelines, and insights into competitor activity.
• Meet with hiring managers to understand their real requirements, push back diplomatically when it makes sense, and put forward the best strategy for closing each role.
• Facilitate interviews that explore a candidate's technical know-how, personal drive, communication skills, and alignment with how the team operates.
• Deliver a positive and smooth process for candidates by keeping every interaction fast, transparent, and considerate from start to finish.
• Track hiring performance indicators closely to identify problem areas, improve how many candidates convert, and refine the recruitment approach over time.
• Test out emerging tools and techniques, including AI-powered recruitment software, automated processes, and unconventional sourcing approaches, to increase efficiency and keep candidates engaged.
• Keep a pulse on what's happening in technology, how the talent pool is evolving, and what strategies rival companies are using to recruit.

Qualifications

• No less than three years spent in a recruiting capacity focused on engineering and technical hiring within an internationally-minded company.
• Demonstrated ability to find technical candidates who are notoriously hard to reach, applying a variety of sourcing approaches.
• Comfortable understanding of common technology environments such as Java, JavaScript, .NET, DevOps, Cloud, QA, Data, and other closely related areas.
• Well-developed interviewing skills that let you assess candidates on more than just their written resume.
• Experience partnering closely with hiring managers and using both data and market awareness to steer hiring outcomes.
• Practical exposure to applicant tracking systems along with organized, repeatable hiring processes.
• Track record of using AI-driven tools such as ChatGPT to elevate sourcing quality, candidate communication, research work, or general productivity.
• Naturally analytical approach, comfortable digging into metrics and translating them into meaningful process improvements.
• Strong English abilities across both speaking and writing, at minimum a B2 proficiency level.
