[Hiring] Senior Human Resources Analyst @Prince George's County Government

Role Description

This is a senior level professional, analytical and administrative position serving a variety of human resources programs, on a rotational basis. Incumbent will focus on areas such as:

• Classification and compensation
• Recruitment and examination
• Employee and labor relations
• Training and career development
• Background and compliance
• Quality assurance

The person selected may lead and/or provide technical guidance to subordinate positions in conjunction with specified projects and will serve to fill operational gaps within the agency as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Human Resources/Personnel Management, Organizational Development, Business/Public Management, Psychology, or closely related field
• Two (2) years of professional level human resources experience
• An equivalent combination of education, experience, and training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities may be considered

Requirements

• Experience performing a broad range of HR functions, including recruitment and selection, classification and compensation, employee relations, performance management, and benefits administration
• Experience providing technical guidance, consultation, and recommendations to employees, supervisors, managers, and HR liaisons regarding human resources policies, procedures, and best practices
• Experience interpreting, applying, and communicating human resources policies, procedures, collective bargaining agreements, and applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
• Experience researching complex human resources issues, analyzing personnel data, identifying trends, and developing written reports and recommendations to support management decisions
• Experience developing and delivering training and presentations for employees and leadership
