[Hiring] Senior Data Analyst @UnitedHealth Group

Role Description

Design, build, test, deliver and maintain conversion jobs that cleanse and transform data from various source data sets into United HealthCare Services’ policy management system.

• Access, extract, and merge data from different data sources, formats, platforms, and systems.
• Utilize data scrubbing techniques to ensure data accuracy, including parsing, data transformation, duplicate elimination, and statistical modeling.
• Collaborate with non-technical business subject matter experts to work through the build-out of conversion logic that will address data anomalies.
• Author and maintain documentation surrounding the mapping and cleansing of source data as it is transformed into our policy management system.
• Verify and document that all source data is accurately converted, validated, and accounted for as it is transformed into our policy management system.
• Participate in meetings with client teams to present conversion/validation results.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 12 months of experience in the job offered or in an analyst-related occupation.

• Facilitate and document gathering requirements such as mapping documents, process flows, test cases, and business requirement documents.
