Role Description

Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Senior HR Business Partner, Local Co-ops on a permanent basis. We're seeking an experienced HR professional who can provide trusted advice, drive people strategies, and guide business decisions across a diverse portfolio of local Co-ops. This position is a remote opportunity requiring approximately 30% travel, preferably based in Saskatoon or Regina, Saskatchewan.

• Deliver strategic, future-focused HR guidance to senior leaders, ensuring solutions align with organizational values, business priorities, and best-practice standards.
• Drive organizational design and change initiatives by assessing impacts, shaping communication strategies, mitigating risks, and supporting end-to-end implementation.
• Cultivate strong, trust-based relationships with business leaders through deep understanding of their operating environments and proactive strategic planning support.
• Collaborate across HR functions to evaluate program effectiveness, identify service gaps, share client insights, and jointly deliver programs and initiatives.

Qualifications

• 6-9 years of relevant progressively responsible experience as an HR generalist advising and coaching leaders.
• Experience in a unionized environment is required.
• Bachelor of Commerce, preferably majoring in HR (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
• Familiarity with change management and organizational design concepts (considered an asset).
• CPHR designation is considered an asset.
