The position coordinates employee lifecycle activities, HR documentation, employee relations support, payroll and benefits administration, immigration processes, HR systems, and compliance activities in alignment with approved corporate standards and applicable local requirements. The role independently manages routine matters, partners with internal and external stakeholders, and escalates complex employee relations, disciplinary, policy, and compliance matters to HR leadership.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate day-to-day HR operations for European business units and international EOR and contingent worker populations in accordance with approved processes and applicable requirements.
  • Serve as an operational contact for employees, managers, EOR providers, contingent worker vendors, and internal partners; respond to routine inquiries and escalate complex or high-risk matters to HR leadership.
  • Support onboarding, employee changes, leave coordination, and offboarding activities, ensuring required documentation, approvals, system updates, and stakeholder notifications are completed accurately and timely.
  • Prepare, review, route, and maintain employment contracts, amendments, employee letters, and related HR documentation using approved templates and guidance.
  • Coordinate EOR employee administration, including onboarding, benefits, payroll inputs, contractual documentation, and issue resolution with local providers.
  • Support employee relations matters by gathering facts, maintaining case documentation, communicating approved guidance, and escalating complex employee relations, disciplinary, compliance, or policy issues.
  • Coordinate immigration and work-authorization activities, including collection and tracking of documents and liaison with employees, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Assist with payroll and benefits administration by validating employee data, coordinating changes with paymasters and vendors, supporting enrollment, and helping resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain timely and accurate employee records, case notes, personnel files, compliance documentation, and HRIS data; audit system changes and employee profiles to identify and correct errors before payroll processing.
  • Monitor and resolve assigned Recruiting and HR tickets and cases for supported business units within established service expectations.
  • Research regulatory developments, local employment practices, labor market information, and HR requirements; summarize findings and support implementation of approved policy or process updates.
  • Collaborate with Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting, IT, Legal, Compliance, HR Integration, and other teams to coordinate employee lifecycle activities and resolve operational issues.
  • Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports, project updates, employee data summaries, and compliance documentation for HR leadership.
  • Support HR service-delivery and process-improvement initiatives by documenting workflows, identifying recurring issues, participating in testing, and recommending practical improvements.
  • Build and maintain productive relationships with external vendors and internal stakeholders to support consistent service delivery across countries and cultures.
  • Protect confidential employee and organizational information and apply appropriate discretion in all HR activities.
  • Travel domestically or internationally on an occasional basis, up to 5%, for meetings, training, employee support, or other business needs.

Marginal Functions

  • Participate in cross-functional projects involving other departments that impact local and/or international HR processes or employee experience.
  • Contribute to HR technology implementations or upgrades, including testing, feedback, and training support for global users.
  • Represent HR in international meetings or discussions, sharing insights and updates on the global workforce and compliance matters.
  • Assist with onboarding and mentoring new HR team members, especially those supporting international teams.
  • Complete special projects or assignments as directed by senior leadership or in response to emerging organizational needs to accomplish the objectives of the department.
