[Hiring] Payroll Clerk @Gifted Healthcare

Role Description

The Payroll Clerk supports the accurate and timely processing of payroll for Gifted Healthcare's clinical workforce. This role provides administrative and clerical support throughout the payroll process, assists with maintaining accurate payroll records, and responds to routine employee payroll inquiries while following company policies and established procedures.

• Review employee timecards for accuracy and identify discrepancies for resolution
• Enter and process payroll adjustments, corrections, reimbursements, and other approved pay changes
• Assist with payroll data entry, reconciliation, and routine payroll processing activities
• Maintain required payroll documentation and records
• Respond to routine employee payroll inquiries in a professional and timely manner
• Escalate questions, discrepancies, and issues requiring additional review or approval
• Follow established payroll procedures and applicable wage and hour requirements
• Maintain confidentiality of employee and payroll information
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• One year of payroll, accounting, administrative, or related experience preferred
• Basic understanding of payroll processes and wage and hour requirements
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Ability to identify and resolve routine issues and follow established procedures
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong customer service orientation
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
