Role Description

• You partner with our Recruiting Ops Manager, who owns the backend operations.
• Our hiring managers are engaged partners who act as an extension of the talent team.
• LP recruiting runs on data and structured hiring.
• Your job is to get ahead of demand, build pipeline as you search, and make the whole function sharper over time.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of full-cycle recruiting function ownership, mostly in senior, leadership, or hard-to-fill searches.
• Understanding of the businesses you recruit for, not just the roles.
• Sourcing as the core of the job: consistently find and engage the top 5% in every search.
• Experience owning searches solo from first touch to close.
• Ability to drive the pipeline yourself, without leaning on agencies.
• Sharp, evidence-anchored calls on who advances and who gets rejected.
• Track record as the recruiter hiring managers trust and request by name.
• Reporting and analytics fluency: build the funnel view, read conversion and time-to-fill.
• Fluency with sourcing tools and modern ATS.
• Use AI daily in your workflow.
• Structured hiring discipline: scorecards with a real floor, behavioral interviewing.
• Strong writing: clear, structured, and anchored candidate writeups.

What You’ll Own

• Own top of funnel across inbound and outbound, driving the pool rather than waiting on applicant flow.
• Run searches end to end: intake, JD, sourcing, screening, panel design, and close.
• Conduct video screens and structured behavioral interviews, and write evidence-anchored writeups.
• Deliver a world-class candidate experience on every search.
• Own recruiting reporting: funnel conversion, time-to-fill, source effectiveness.
• Set the scorecard floor per req and sharpen pre-screen rubrics.
• Partner with and direct our Recruiting Ops Manager.

Total Compensation

Base salary is set according to market rates for the nearest major metro and varies based on Launch Potato’s Levels Framework. Your compensation package includes a base salary, profit-sharing bonus, and competitive benefits.
