Role Description

In this role, you'll work closely with our Director of Human Resources to coordinate essential HR operations, support employees throughout their employment journey, and help strengthen the processes that keep our growing organization running smoothly.

• Location: Remote within Georgia, with occasional travel to Cartersville, GA
• Pay Range: $25–$30 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
• Employment Type: Full-Time, Hourly (Non-Exempt)
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Eastern Time

Key Responsibilities

• HR Operations & Employee Support
  • Coordinate day-to-day HR activities, maintain confidential employee records, and ensure HR systems and documentation remain accurate and up to date.
  • Support employee changes, benefits administration, HR transactions, and routine employee inquiries while partnering with our Professional Employer Organization (PEO).
  • Maintain HR calendars, trackers, and administrative processes while proactively managing deadlines and follow-up requirements.
• Recruiting, Onboarding & Offboarding
  • Coordinate recruiting activities, including job postings, applicant tracking, interview scheduling, candidate communications, and pre-employment requirements.
  • Help deliver a positive new hire experience by coordinating onboarding paperwork, orientation, training assignments, and required follow-up.
  • Support employee offboarding activities, including documentation, checklists, and coordination with internal departments.
• Training, Compliance & HR Support
  • Administer employee training assignments through our Learning Management System (LMS), monitor completion, and maintain compliance records.
  • Support performance management processes, quarterly employee conversations, employee acknowledgments, HR reporting, and personnel file audits.
  • Provide occasional backup support for payroll processing and appropriately escalate sensitive employee relations matters.
• Process Improvement & Growth
  • Identify opportunities to improve HR workflows, streamline administrative processes, and enhance the overall employee experience.
  • Take ownership of assigned HR responsibilities while contributing to projects and initiatives that support the continued growth of CMT.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in HR administration, HR coordination, or a related HR support role; 3+ years preferred.
• Experience working with HR systems, applicant tracking systems, or similar business software.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional, service-oriented approach.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and sound judgment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and the ability to learn new systems and technology.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Requirements

• An associate's or bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience with HRIS, ATS, LMS, benefits administration, payroll support, or a PEO.
• Experience supporting HR operations in a growing or multi-state organization.
• Familiarity with employee relations, workplace investigations, or HR compliance.
• Experience in healthcare or medical technology.
