[Hiring] Deputy Service Manager @Change Grow Live

Role Description

We're looking for an ambitious and experienced Deputy Service Manager to help lead our Camden service and play a key role in shaping the future of recovery support across the borough.

As Deputy Service Manager, you'll work alongside the Service Manager to lead a high-performing multidisciplinary team, ensuring services are safe, effective and responsive to local need. You'll help drive performance, develop people, strengthen partnerships and support service innovation—creating the conditions for both colleagues and service users to achieve their full potential.

This is an opportunity to influence beyond day-to-day operations and help shape how recovery services evolve within Camden.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams within substance use, criminal justice, health or social care services
• Strong operational and performance management experience
• The ability to use data and insight to drive improvement
• Experience building effective partnerships across organisations and systems
• A commitment to developing people, services and communities
• Motivated by making a lasting difference to people's lives

Requirements

• Opiate management experience is a must
• Experience leading teams within substance use, criminal justice, health, social care or related services
• Strong operational management and performance improvement experience
• The ability to analyse data and translate insight into action
• Experience managing quality, governance and service improvement programmes
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and partnership-building skills
• The ability to inspire, motivate and develop others
• Strong communication, influencing and decision-making skills
• Passionate about improving outcomes, developing people and creating services that genuinely make a difference
