[Hiring] Centralized Time Keeping Associate @Amazon

Role Description

We are looking to build a brand new HR Services shared services team in Manila to support Amazon’s growth globally. The hub will provide a multi-language capability to our internal customers and we are looking for HR Service Administrator to join our growing Shared Services Center. HR Services teams will be driving to redesign the processes and tools for service globalization and infinite scalability, providing an innovative and frustration-free experience to our employees around the world.

With the service hub being built in Manila, the team will provide instant and high quality services across APAC and the globe, to Amazon business, managers and employees. Services include but are not restricted to:

• Employee transactional processes
• Onboarding
• Centralized timekeeping
• Data management
• Exits
• Compliance related activities

The vision of the Centralized Timekeeping team is to utilize top talent to streamline time and attendance data entry, reduce payroll defects and provide consistently high service levels. CTK will support and manage time and attendance matters for thousands of Amazon Associates. Requests for edits are submitted via MyTime and trouble ticketing from operators and HR across the network. The Centralized Timekeeping team manages the system and ticket queue by executing on the requests on a FIFO basis but will prioritize any payroll impacting ticket if there is a risk of a payroll defect. The efforts of this team support the business by ensuring associate’s time and attendance matters are handled with speed, precision and with customer obsession always in mind.

Qualifications

• At least a college undergraduate
• Minimum N3 JLPT Certification or has had work experience in Japan
• Fluent in Japanese & English
• Superior attention to detail
• Understand processes and program regulations and the way they have been translated into existing technical environment
• Carry out audits and checks on data and corrections in MyTime to ensure accurate and timely payment of the employee population
• Knows how to escalate
• Comfortable and able to provide feedback regarding the role and work volume
• Aptitude for working independently with excellent problem solving skills
• Participation in the continuous improvement of HR processes
• Ability to work in international teams where team members are in different locations and belong to different cultures
• Ability to work overtime as required
• MS Office experience required - Proven experience working with Windows, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Experience of working in a transactional/process based environment
• Work Experience in HR Shared Services
• Experience working in a multinational company
