Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field
• 1-3 years of experience in retirement plan administration and compliance within the retirement plan industry
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, including data analysis
• Experience using project management tools
• Retirement Plan Fundamentals (RPF) Certificate from ASPPA, obtained within the first year of employment
• ASPPA, ERPA, or equivalent retirement plan certifications are preferred but not required

Requirements

• Administer Multiple Employer Plans (MEPs), Pooled Employer Retirement Plans (PEPs), and external client retirement plans
• Submit retirement plan contribution files accurately and on schedule
• Review and process employee enrollment forms and distribution requests
• Verify retirement plan documentation for accuracy and completeness, obtaining missing information when necessary
• Set up employee retirement plans, plan elections, and loan deductions within the payroll system
• Provide outstanding customer service by explaining retirement plan eligibility, enrollment processes, and plan features
• Coordinate with retirement plan vendors to investigate and resolve discrepancies
• Research and respond to employee and client inquiries while ensuring compliance with DOL, IRS, and ERISA regulations
• Coordinate with previous plan providers to obtain required historical retirement plan data
• Maintain retirement plan records in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements
• Stay current with changing retirement plan regulations and industry standards
• Assist with retirement plan reconciliations and audit activities
• Collaborate with the compliance team regarding ADP/ACP testing and other retirement plan compliance requirements
• Perform additional duties assigned by management
• Work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high levels of accuracy and responsiveness
