[Hiring] People Business Partner @Grafana Labs

Role Description

As an Associate People Business Partner, you’ll support teams across the APAC region and help deliver a consistent, high-quality people experience. You’ll work closely with managers and leaders across a range of functions, gaining hands-on experience while developing your skills as a People Partner.

• Act as a project lead for several recurring People Team processes throughout the year, including performance reviews, engagement surveys, quarterly business reviews, People planning, and talent programs
• Partner with managers across APAC on day-to-day people questions, providing guidance aligned with company policies and local practices
• Serve as a first point of contact for employees on People policies, programs, and resources
• Assist with workforce planning activities, including hiring, onboarding, and internal mobility across the region
• Support employee relations matters in partnership with a Strategic People Business Partner
• Prepare and deliver reporting and insights to support data-informed people decisions
• Collaborate with global People team members to improve processes, documentation, and employee resources
• Help reinforce a strong, inclusive, and distributed-first culture across APAC teams

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in HR, People Operations, or a related field
• Bachelor’s degree in HR or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience; HR certification is a plus
• Strong interest in developing as a People Business Partner in a regional, multi-function environment
• Curious and proactive mindset, with a desire to continuously improve processes and ways of working
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Clear, approachable communicator who builds trust with managers and employees
• Comfortable working across time zones in a remote-first, globally distributed company
• Interest in expanding HR knowledge, including local employment laws and practices across APAC

Requirements

• In Australia, the base compensation range for this role is $150,000 - $165,000. Actual compensation may vary based on level, experience, and skillset as assessed in the interview process.
