We are seeking a motivated and talented Benefits Director to lead our benefits programs. Reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer, the Benefits Director will be instrumental in continuing to build our people-focused culture through partnership and collaboration with our Human Resources and Operations teams.

  • Lead with empathy, strong communication, and a people-focused approach to achieve successful results across the company.
  • Support and shape the company’s people-focused culture by promoting inclusivity, diversity, and collaboration.
  • Provide strategic direction and oversight for the company’s benefit plans and leave program initiatives.
  • Partner with Benefits & Retirement plan advisors to recommend programs for the organization.
  • Effectively manage relationships with healthcare and benefit providers, benefits advisors, and key stakeholders.
  • Lead review of benefit programs during due diligence processes.
  • Lead integration of benefit programs each year for legacy companies.
  • Lead benefits compliance activities across the organization.
  • Develop and deliver benefits education programs regularly throughout the company.
  • Provide ongoing oversight, direction, and supervision for Benefits Specialist.
  • Identify, implement, and administer technology options in the Benefits realm.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Human Resources Management, Business Management, Finance, or a related field of study.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in benefits programs with three (3) of those years involving strategic planning, plan oversight & analysis, and implementation of recommendations.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience effectively managing and supervising direct reports.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute effectively, make measurable progress on multiple high priorities simultaneously.
  • Must have exceptional communication, presentation, time and project management, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
  • Strong technical skills in using Microsoft Office environment.
  • CEBS or CBP designations are desirable.
  • Must be able to travel 10-15% annually.
