Role Description

  • Ensure all content aligns with our content strategy and posting guidelines.
  • Work with the graphics team to ensure visual assets are ready for each post.
  • Load and organize 30 days of content into Sprout Social for automated scheduling.
  • Format content correctly for each platform (e.g., Reels for Instagram, landscape for Facebook, correct video duration for YouTube).
  • Use Planable.io for content scheduling and approvals.
  • Follow up with the content team to ensure a consistent flow of fresh content.
  • Identify and request different types of content when trends or engagement insights indicate new opportunities.
  • Monitor and respond to comments and messages following our response guidelines.
  • Escalate issues and inquiries via WhatsApp to the appropriate team members.
  • Engage with target audiences by liking, commenting, and following relevant businesses and individuals.
  • Interact with community posts, supporting local businesses and industry-related content through likes, comments, and reshares.
  • Monitor post engagement and social media performance.
  • Provide regular feedback on what content performs best and suggest improvements.
  • Track follower growth and engagement to refine the social media strategy.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, or content coordination.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Planable.io, Canva, KIMP.IO, Trello/ClickUp).
  • Experience managing content for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other platforms.
  • Strong understanding of content strategy, engagement tactics, and audience growth.
  • Ability to track and analyze engagement metrics to optimize content performance.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to respond professionally to online interactions.
  • Experience working in a team structure, reporting to marketing and growth leads.

Requirements

  • Schedule: 25 hours per week
  • Monday-Friday 10:00AM-3:00PM Australian Eastern Standard Time
