[Hiring] Zuora Systems Analyst – Revenue Recognition @ELITEBRAIN

Role Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Zuora Systems Analyst – Revenue Recognition to support a critical enterprise financial systems implementation and integration project. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Zuora Revenue, Zuora Billing, Workday, and revenue recognition processes, combined with technical expertise in system configuration, data integration, financial reporting, and troubleshooting. This position requires a professional who can bridge the gap between Finance, Accounting, and IT teams, translating complex business requirements into effective technical solutions.

The selected candidate will play a key role in:

• Configuring revenue recognition rules
• Supporting financial system integrations
• Resolving data discrepancies
• Ensuring accurate revenue reporting in compliance with applicable accounting standards

This is a fully remote opportunity requiring full availability during U.S. Pacific Time business hours, without exceptions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Zuora Systems Analyst, Revenue Systems Analyst, or in a similar technical-functional role.
• Hands-on experience with Zuora Revenue (RevPro) and revenue recognition processes.
• Strong understanding of ASC 606 revenue recognition standards and financial operations.
• Experience with Workday and integrations between financial and enterprise systems.
• Proficiency in SQL and/or ZOQL for data analysis, reporting, and troubleshooting.
• Experience configuring, maintaining, and supporting Zuora Revenue Recognition systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot system issues, analyze data discrepancies, and support technical resolutions.
• Experience with system integrations, data validation, testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Familiarity with month-end close activities, revenue reporting, and financial reconciliation processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with Finance, Accounting, IT, and business stakeholders.
• Advanced English proficiency, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work independently in a 100% remote environment.
• Mandatory availability to work Pacific Time (PT) business hours.

Requirements

• Support month-end financial close processes and revenue reconciliation activities.
• Monitor transaction processing, error queues, and system workbenches.
• Troubleshoot posting errors, invoice discrepancies, and revenue adjustments.
• Execute and validate automated revenue processing jobs.
• Collaborate with U.S.-based stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Participate actively in daily meetings, technical discussions, and implementation activities.
