[Hiring] Staff Accountant @eXp World Holdings, Inc.

Role Description

• Perform monthly close activities including preparation of journal entries, maintaining account reconciliations and monthly flux analysis.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions in a timely manner from Portugal and other EMEA countries assigned.
• Ensure timely responses to client requests and internal queries.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and supporting documentation for audit purposes.
• Handle external and internal queries via email/phone.
• Identify and calculate provisions and exceptions to standard bookings.
• Assist in developing and documenting business processes, procedures, checklists, and policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned or required.

Qualifications

• Degree in business, majoring in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of combined experience in accounting and GL close process.
• Fluent in Portuguese, Spanish and English is mandatory; knowledge of additional languages is highly valued.
• Strong understanding of local GAAP accounting and financial/operational understanding; US GAAP is a plus.
• Knowledge and experience working with Primavera, Odoo is highly desired but not mandatory.
• Highly developed knowledge and experience with Microsoft Excel.
• Work collaboratively and communicate often with several internal departments.
• Adapt to new tasks and responsibilities as the business grows and changes.
• Contribute to the organization in a professional manner with a positive attitude.
