[Hiring] Quality of Earnings Engagement Lead @Murdock Martell

Role Description

Our client is a Series B enterprise, SaaS company. They are seeking an experienced senior finance professional to lead the preparation of a sell-side Quality of Earnings (QoE) analysis. The candidate will:

• Plan and lead the QoE effort.
• Oversee and direct the resources supporting the data room.
• Manage Q&A with management.
• Personally perform much of the analytical work.
• Prepare a polished PDF report with graphical analysis and the supporting data workbook(s).

The work must be completed by the end of January 2027, with earlier completion strongly preferred. The Controller will serve as the primary point of contact.

Qualifications

• CFO, VP or Director-level finance experience.
• Audit background (public accounting or equivalent), critical for this role.
• Demonstrated experience preparing QoE reports.
• Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality output on a firm deadline.

Requirements

• M&A transaction experience, particularly on the sell side.
• SaaS revenue experience, including ARR metrics and deferred revenue / revenue recognition.
• Familiarity with Stripe billing and revenue data.
• Experience with multi-entity structures and intercompany cost allocations.
