Role Description

• The Outsourced Controller is responsible to the firm's tribal clients for general ledger preparation, reconciliation and transactional level review.
• Prepare and finalize month end close and financial reporting for review.
• Prepare and/or review work-papers and schedules to ensure audit readiness.
• Provide on-site services as requested by client.
• Participate in cross utilization of teams and/or lead software implementations, conversions and setups as assigned.
• Completion and/or review of debt, assets and gaming revenue.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients and their personnel.
• Obtain client expectations from management team and develop plan to meet client expectations.
• Eventually assist with mentoring new staff as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance required.
• 3+ years of experience with hands on full cycle accounting process including financial statement creation and preparation.
• Experience working with gaming or casino enterprises required.
• Required travel to client sites up to 20%.
