[Hiring] Outsourced Accounting Controller @Wipfli Advisory LLC

Role Description

The Outsourced Controller is responsible to the firm's tribal clients for:

• General ledger preparation, reconciliation, and transactional level review.
• Preparing and finalizing month-end close and financial reporting for review.
• Preparing and/or reviewing work-papers and schedules to ensure audit readiness.
• Providing on-site services as requested by the client.
• Participating in cross-utilization of teams and/or leading software implementations, conversions, and setups as assigned.
• Completion and/or review of debt, assets, and gaming revenue.
• Developing and maintaining relationships with clients and their personnel.
• Obtaining client expectations from the management team and developing a plan to meet those expectations.
• Eventually assisting with mentoring new staff as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance required.
• 3+ years of experience with hands-on full cycle accounting process including financial statement creation and preparation.
• Experience working with gaming or casino enterprises required.
• Required travel to client sites up to 20%.

Wipfli values fair, transparent, and competitive compensation, considering each candidate's unique skills and experiences. The estimated base pay range for this role is $107,000 to $160,000 with offers typically not made at the maximum, allowing for future salary increases.

Individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, subject to participation rules and based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual and Firm performance.
