Role Description
Responsible for providing financial planning, analysis and reporting for Large Combat Engine and Services. Deliver on financial and operational commitments to shareholders. Develop working knowledge of competition and market industry to differentiate GE Aviation Military Large Combat Engines and Services.

Manage the business cycle - budget, forecasts at each level of the organization, and Long Range Forecast/Strategy.

Define KPIs to measure performance in all areas of the organization.

Analyze performance and propose action plans to improve profitability and cash generation.

Develop specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise for Large Combat Engine & Services.

Serve as best practice/go-to Finance Leader.

Contribute towards strategy and policy development, ensuring delivery within area of responsibility.

Communicate complex messages effectively; act as a resource for colleagues with less experience.

Lead small projects with moderate risks and resource requirements.

Build consensus and explain difficult or sensitive information.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Military Aviation and/or Department of Defense experience).
Requirements

Prior experience in Aviation industry or other industry with Long Term Contractual Services.

Prior experience working with US Government and Department of Defense.

Ability to work under tight deadlines and to prioritize under pressure.
