Role Description

Ampa are looking for a talented PMO Finance Analyst to support the PMO and the project management team to deliver a number of project portfolios on a 12-month contract.

  • Provide support to Ampa Programme and Project Managers, Portfolio Managers and Head of IT Business Programmes by coordinating and collating IT PMO information.
  • Act as a reference point for PMO queries and information, advocating for best practice in project management across programs.
  • Build relationships with stakeholders and broker relationships at all levels.
  • Work collaboratively with Project Managers to create, update and maintain forecasts.
  • Review and monitor forecasts and related expenditure, regularly engaging finance teams to hold monthly reviews on project and operational expenditure.
  • Document, define and maintain the IT finance procedures while observing ISO:27001 best practice.

Qualifications

  • Experience in project financial management (monitoring, control and reporting) or strong experience as a PMO Coordinator, or similar role in a PMO.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong commitment to quality.
  • Ability to produce documentation within identified standards.
  • Strong organisational skills – to plan, organise & set priorities.
  • Expertise across MS Office Suite – including MS Excel, MS SharePoint and MS Project.
  • Experience in producing and maintaining project risk, issues & change request.
