Role Description
This is a 100% remote position that will require 0-10% travel and the salary range is $25-$30/hour. This is a part-time hourly position with the potential to go full-time in the near future or remain part-time.
Reporting to our Accounting Manager, our Bookkeeper will be at the helm of our financial operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and exceptional client experiences. Your days will be filled with:
- Client Relationship Management: Establish and maintain direct relationships with clients, serving as their primary point of contact for financial support and customized solutions. Ensure timely communication, deliver high-quality results, and build trust through exceptional service and reliability.
- Financial Mastery: Dive into the nitty-gritty of accounts payable/receivables, general ledger reconciliations, and comprehensive account analysis.
- Budgeting Brilliance: Utilize your strategic thinking to align financial objectives with client needs and manage the budgeting process.
- Process Enhancement: Identify opportunities for improvement, driving operational efficiency, and contributing to special projects.
- Team Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure seamless payroll processing and year-end tax preparations.
Qualifications
- Accounting education, preferred.
- 5-7 years of full-cycle US accounting experience, including significant client-facing responsibilities.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in QuickBooks Online and strong expertise in Excel.
- Extreme attention to detail.
- Integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information.
- Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Independent initiative and ownership of work.
- Collaborative spirit and positive attitude.
- Advocate for continuous improvement and process enhancements.
