Role Description
We are looking for a remote Accounting Specialist to join the Finance team. As a member of the team, you will help maintain financial reporting processes and drive strategic outcomes for our business and partners, focusing on accounts payable and accounts receivable processing. You’ll report to the Controller and work cross-functionally to develop critical business processes that deliver great solutions to our partners.
As a key member of the finance team, your impact will not stop there. Your insights and feedback will help us improve how we support the organization as well as our partners, and as you deepen your understanding of our business and internal processes, your scope of responsibilities will grow, allowing you to have long lasting impact on our business.
- Processes accounts payable daily utilizing Bill.com.
- Verifies accounts payable balances with vendors on a monthly basis.
- Communicates and investigates variances with vendors.
- Processes accounts receivable monthly utilizing Bill.com.
- Communicates with customers to maintain current AR aging.
- Contributes to monthly and quarterly close by investigating and explaining revenue and expense fluxes.
- Maintains knowledge of acceptable accounting practices and procedures.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.

- Organized and can effectively deal with multiple time-sensitive tasks.
- Proactive and energized by the opportunity to take ownership over projects.
- Willing to learn new systems and provide feedback for improvement.
- Experienced/comfortable in an environment with high levels of autonomy.
- Able to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
