Role Description

Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer who takes pride in getting the details right—and getting the job done? We're looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer who is proactive, organized, and conscientious. Someone who can take a project, understand what needs to happen, work through the details, and see it through to completion.

As Mechanical Design Engineer, you’ll provide accurate designs and analysis, be a problem solver, and take ownership of your projects and see them through to completion. Your responsibilities will include:

• Analysis of sample parts and machinery
• Interpretation of technical design information
• Design of parts and mechanical assemblies as per customer requirements
• Creation of CAD models, engineering drawings, and inspection plans for manufacturing
• Collaboration with customers, vendors, and other team members

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of mechanical engineering gained from a bachelor’s degree or other education and experience
• SolidWorks experience preferred
• Ability to learn quickly and excel at problem solving
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Knowledge from relevant experience, such as manufacturing, inspection, machine design, controls systems, and project management

Requirements

• Must live within one hour of our Grove City or West Chester, Ohio office
• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check are conditions of employment
