[Hiring] Chief Tunnel Ventilation, Station Airconditioning Engineer @SYSTRA

Role Description

The position of Chief Tunnel Ventilation, Station Airconditioning Engineer is key in the bidding for Metro projects across India.

• TVS Design Authority: Authorizing SES and CFD modeling to manage piston effects and heat loads in tunnels.
• Emergency Strategy: Designing critical fire-mode sequences to ensure smoke-free paths for passenger evacuation during emergencies.
• ECS & Station AC: Overseeing high-capacity chilled water plants, AHUs, and energy-efficient HVAC systems for public comfort and equipment cooling.
• System Integration: Coordinating the interface between Fire Alarms and the Environmental Control Panel (ECP) for automated emergency response.
• Physical Interface: Managing the placement of massive ventilation shafts and plant rooms with Civil and Architectural teams.
• Safety Validation: Leading full-scale Hot Smoke Tests and securing CMRS certification for station and tunnel safety.
• Operational Efficiency: Implementing VSDs and SCADA-linked monitoring to optimize massive power consumption.

Qualifications

• Graduate in relevant Engineering
• Required total 20+ years of experience
• 15+ years of experience in relevant projects
