Role Description

Leland is seeking an experienced public policy coach to work with students and professionals pursuing careers in public policy. This role includes:

• Teaching core skills in policy analysis, public administration, legislative advocacy, and nonprofit management.
• Helping students build capabilities through consistent, practical skill building.
• Supporting the career side of the journey, including:
  • Resume review
  • Interview prep
  • Salary negotiation
  • Networking strategy
  • Freelancing for those pursuing independent consulting work in the space.

Ideal candidates have:

• Professional experience in public policy.
• Prior coaching or mentoring experience.
• A clear, structured approach to breaking down complex policy and organizational topics.

Coaches set their own hours and rates, host sessions virtually, and partner with our team to deliver a high-quality, supportive experience for every student.
