Role Description

The Professor will focus on building a successful academic career while making meaningful contributions to the discipline, department, and College of Medicine. Primary responsibilities include:

• 63% clinical activity

Qualifications

• MD, PhD, MD/PhD, or equivalent required
• Successful completion in a pediatric residency program
• Focused training in Pediatric Nephrology
• Arkansas medical licensure
• Board eligible or board certification in pediatrics

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered clinical care in alignment with the mission and goals of the College of Medicine
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes for patients, focusing on the healthcare needs of children in Arkansas
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with departmental policies and regulatory standards
• Engage in academic activities, including teaching, mentoring, and contributing to the development of educational programs within the College of Medicine
• Participate in scholarly activities, such as research, presentations, or quality improvement initiatives, consistent with personal academic goals and College expectations
