Role Description

Reporting to the Dean of Student Success, the Second-Year Experience (SYE) Coordinator supports continued student engagement, persistence, and purpose development for sophomore students at Peace. The SYE Coordinator is a member of the Center for Student Success staff and provides coordination for Second-Year Experience programming, with a focus on:

• Belonging
• Career exploration
• Leadership development
• Cultivation of essential professional and life skills

This role supports students in defining their academic and career pathways, fostering their connection to the institution, and preparing for third-year success and beyond.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Counseling, Education, or related field
• Experience working with undergraduate students in a teaching, advising, or student support capacity
• Understanding of retention best practices

Requirements

• Experience developing or facilitating second-year, career exploration, or leadership development programs
• Experience collaborating with Career Services or integrating career readiness into programming
• Experience with retention management or early alert system (such as Starfish)
