Role Description

Join World Vision’s Humanitarian Operations team as a MEAL & Child Protection in Emergencies Intern, working remotely within the US. This internship offers a three-month opportunity for talented students and recent graduates eager to dive into the international relief and development field.

As a Humanitarian MEAL & CPiE Evidence and Learning Intern, you will:

  • Support a joint evidence and learning agenda by bringing together research, program insights, and operational learning.
  • Help identify key patterns, gaps, and emerging trends.
  • Transform complex information into practical learning products that strengthen emergency programming.

What You'll Do

  • Support Evidence Synthesis: Review and synthesize research studies, evaluations, assessments, guidance documents, and program learning related to humanitarian MEAL and Child Protection in Emergencies.
  • Contribute to Strategic Learning: Organize evidence around priority learning questions and support the development of concise learning products.
  • Analyze Humanitarian Data and Trends: Review program and response data to identify patterns and learning opportunities.
  • Explore CPiE Evidence: Examine evidence related to child protection outcomes and integration across humanitarian programming.
  • Develop Learning Products: Translate technical information into accessible outputs such as summaries, notes, presentations, and visualizations.
  • Support Knowledge Management: Organize evidence, datasets, and learning resources for improved access and use.

Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Able to commit to at least 20 hours per week for the internship period.
  • Current student or recent graduate from an undergraduate or graduate program (within 2 years).
  • Adhere to World Vision International’s Christian Statement of Faith.
  • Willingness to use own electronic devices for internship purposes.

Details

  • Location: Remote within the US.
  • Internship Cohort Dates: 25 January – 23 April, 2027.
  • Stipend: Unpaid, with a monthly stipend of $800 for US-based interns.
  • Hours: Full-time and part-time opportunities (20-40 hours/week).
