Role Description

This role involves designing, building, and maintaining scalable and secure infrastructure for our microservices architecture.

Implement best practices for cloud infrastructure management, including automation, monitoring, and cost optimization.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of services.
Develop and enforce security policies and procedures to protect our systems and data.
Monitor system performance and reliability, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
Lead incident response efforts, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication.
Develop API integrations with external systems.
Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning.

Qualifications

7+ years of experience in a senior-level infrastructure, DevOps, SRE, or security role.
Deep understanding of cloud platforms (GCP preferred, but AWS and Azure is fine), tuning and scaling microservices infrastructure, and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
Expertise in automation tools (Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, etc.).
Strong knowledge of network security, firewalls, VPN, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Stackdriver, Prometheus, etc.).
Proficient in scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.) and infrastructure-as-code.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
