Role Description

Indotronix is seeking a UX Researcher for a remote position with our direct client.

• Title: UX Researcher
• Location: Can be fully remote
• Shift Times/Preferred Time Zone: 8-5 EST highly ideal (can be slightly flexible)
• Duration: Contract to hire

This position will support user experience research and testing for all digital assets.

Team Background and Possible Preferred Candidate History:

• HCI (Human-Computer Interaction), anthropology, psychology, or descriptive statistics (preferred, not necessary)
• Business experience
• Public health (UX research from a mixed perspective)

Candidate preferred industry background:

• Financial
• Insurance
• Healthcare (experience with regulated industries)

The team consists of 7 other researchers.

Key Responsibilities

• Work cross-functionally with product owners, product managers, experience designers, content designers, and other partners to help identify and define research projects and objectives.
• Scope, plan, and conduct user research and testing projects end-to-end.
• Suggest appropriate methods for questions asked by product, design, and other partners.
• Decide and advocate for appropriate sample size for each method.
• Independently program research studies into necessary tools and conduct quality assurance.
• Analyze results, generate actionable insights, and share them with partners as well as the broader organization.

Requirements

• A great understanding of UX research modalities and methods (generalist).
• At least 4-5 years of experience in remote, in-person, moderated, and unmoderated user research; including but not limited to usability testing, interviews, surveys, click tests, card sorts, tree testing, etc.
• Experience with testing platforms: Maze, Qualtrics, and Glassbox (additional optional).

• At least 3-4 years of experience working in finance, insurance, or healthcare (regulated industries).

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education Required

• Bachelor's minimum.

Logistics (Interviews)

• 2nd Round: panel style - sharing portfolio/work.
• 3rd Round: technical round (no prior prep, will be given scenarios and answered during interview).
