[Hiring] Senior Video Editor @ROCC Film

Role Description

ROCC Film is seeking a talented video editor to assemble recorded footage into a finished project that matches with the company’s vision. The ideal candidate is passionate about video editing and creative content creation.

• Mix and enhance dialogue, music, voiceover, and sound effects to create polished final edits.
• Collaborate with creative directors, designers, producers, marketers, and production partners throughout concept development, production, and post-production.
• Organize and maintain project files, media assets, templates, and editing workflows across multiple concurrent projects.
• Stay current on editing techniques, storytelling trends, post-production best practices, and emerging creative technologies.
• Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency.
• Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the final output.
• Proven work experience as a video editor.
• Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio.
• Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation and continuity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in film editing or related degree is preferred.
• Professional mastery of video and audio editing software and programs.
• Ability to multitask and work toward several milestones on various projects simultaneously.
• Ability to understand the desired outcome of a project when meeting with the team and the ability to bring them to life.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills to work comfortably in a deadline-driven environment.
• Possess a positive, solution-oriented attitude with a keen eye for process and product improvements.
• Excellent command of the English language.
• Experience editing various video projects and inserting sound effects, music and transitions.
• Proficient in creating concept boards and other visual representations of planned edits for video projects.
• 5 – 7 years of experience being in video editing.
