Role Description
We're looking for a Product Designer to own the surfaces where Runway turns usage into revenue: pricing, upgrade paths, checkout, and the moments a creator decides Runway is worth paying more for. You'll partner with growth engineering, product, and data to turn goals like ARR growth, expansion revenue, and reduced churn into tested, shipped design changes.
-
Own growth-critical surfaces (pricing pages, paywalls, upgrade prompts, and checkout flows) from concept through shipped, tested experiments.
-
Turn business goals like ARR growth, expansion revenue, and reduced churn into design hypotheses and interface changes you can test.
-
Design and read A/B tests and other experiments with growth engineering and data, iterating fast on what moves the numbers.
-
Collaborate closely with growth engineering and product to ship experiments quickly and turn winners into permanent product surfaces.
-
Contribute to visual and interaction consistency between growth surfaces and the rest of the product.
-
Set the design direction for Runway's growth surfaces and mentor other designers working in the funnel.
Qualifications
-
Experience designing product surfaces tied directly to revenue and can point to what moved ARR, conversion, or expansion revenue in a past role.
-
Comfort running and reading quantitative experiments, not just shipping a single "best" design.
-
Experience designing flows, prototypes and high-fidelity UIs for web products, with strong visual design skills.
-
Experience delivering and iterating fast in close collaboration with engineering and product teams.
-
Ability and flexibility to iterate fast and often.
-
Comfortable picking up unfamiliar parts of the product rather than waiting to be assigned only what you already know.
-
Knowledge and understanding of the creative tool space.
-
Bonus points if you have experience creating functional prototypes using AI tools (Claude Code, Cursor, etc.).
-
Artistic and creative potential (particularly skills with video/audio editing, icon/typography design, illustration, etc.) is a bonus.
Benefits
-
Runway strives to recruit and retain exceptional talent from diverse backgrounds while ensuring pay equity for our team.
-
Salary ranges are based on competitive market rates for our size, stage, and industry.
-
Salary is just one part of the overall compensation package provided.
-
Factors that go into salary determinations include relevant experience, skill level, and qualifications assessed during the interview process.
-
The provided range is the expected salary for candidates in the U.S.; changes may apply for candidates outside of those regions.
