[Hiring] Senior Procedural Artist @Novaquark

Role Description

We are looking for a Senior Procedural Artist to join the Procedural team on Age of Bhaarat, focusing on building and improving procedural world-building tools and workflows using Unreal Engine PCG.

• Develop and maintain production-ready Unreal Engine PCG systems for large-scale world building and environment generation.
• Build artist-facing PCG tools and workflows for Level Artists and Level Designers.
• Create systems for terrain dressing, modular structures, spline-based placement, roads, POIs and environmental set dressing.
• Review, debug and improve existing PCG graphs for quality, usability, performance and scalability.
• Take ownership of complex procedural challenges and turn production needs into practical PCG solutions.
• Support and mentor other Procedural Artists through reviews, technical guidance and knowledge sharing.
• Work with Level Design, Environment Art, Technical Art and Engineering to solve procedural challenges and improve workflows.

Qualifications

• Strong professional experience with Unreal Engine PCG Framework.
• Proven experience building production-ready PCG systems for game environments.
• Strong understanding of procedural data flow, spatial queries, point generation, filtering and attribute manipulation.
• Experience building artist-facing procedural tools and workflows.
• Strong understanding of PCG performance, optimisation and scalability.
• Strong problem-solving skills within a real-time game production environment.

Requirements

• Experience extending PCG through Blueprints or C++, including custom PCG elements, nodes or functionality.
• Experience with PCGEx.
• Experience debugging and profiling PCG systems in large or streamed environments.
• Python or other scripting experience for automation and tooling.
