Role Description
Product Designers at Anchorage Digital develop a deep understanding of the products we build and the problems we solve in order to create new patterns that meld traditional financial workflows with the world of crypto.
- Design solutions to questions with no precedent for institutional users.
- Balance the human need for privacy with the open and transparent nature of the blockchain.
- Shape the future of finance by redefining how institutions interact with digital assets across custody, banking, trading, and settlement products.

Technical Skills:
- Pairs with Product and Engineering to do research and engage with customers.
- Explores a broad range of solutions, concepts, and detailed designs.
- Anticipates gaps and opportunities in customer understanding that drive real business impact.
- Proficient with sketching, flow diagrams, interface design tools, and prototyping tools.
- Designs connected, holistic, and modular systems.

Complexity and Impact of Work:
- Leads large, strategic, and complex projects or processes.
- Breaks down complex projects into simple initiatives and processes.
- Understands how their product impacts other products and departments.
- Impacts business direction through the development and design of innovative services or products.

Organizational Knowledge:
- Collaborates with multiple layers of stakeholders to turn the team strategy into a product vision.
- Promotes a shared understanding of the needs of Anchorage and strategic direction.
- Develops and implements programs, projects, and processes aligned with Anchorage's strategic direction.

Communication and Influence:
- Communicates complex issues clearly and credibly across a wide range of audiences.
- Highly effective communication skills; writes and presents concisely and clearly.
- Uses storytelling to communicate the work in an engaging way.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in designing world-class complex enterprise products.
- Knowledge of financial and crypto products.
- Ability to define the strategy and solve complex challenges across iOS and Web.
- Ability to take ownership of the design process and articulate design decisions.
- Deep understanding of how to create usable, accessible modular designs that can scale.
- Excellent communication and proven ability to lead in cross-functional environments.
- Experience partnering with product managers and engineers to develop the strategy and rationale for product features.
- A compelling portfolio of work that demonstrates high-quality design work.
Requirements
- Able to give and receive feedback and guide other designers.
- Some special combination of the following: creative, humble, detail-oriented, self-aware, curious, thoughtful, and tenacious.
Benefits
- Although not a requirement, bonus points if you have designed for the crypto or finance space.
- Experience in designing for institutional users in the digital finance space.
