Role Description
This role involves supporting the implementation of the Risk Management Plan and enhancing the Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
- Excellent expertise and ability to challenge the KPIs/KRIs, with a critical understanding of risks that the company faces.
- Coordinate the implementation of the Risk Management Plan on an ongoing basis.
- Develop risk management tools, practices, policies, and metrics in collaboration with risk owners and sponsors.
- Experience in enhancing an Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
- Domain expertise in OCC guidance relevant to ERM, specifically knowledge of COSO, RMA, and FFIEC guidance.
- Demonstrated exceptional knowledge of specific domains, such as RCSAs and operations of a GRC tool.
- In-depth understanding of critical risks applicable to financial institutions and experience enhancing ERM policies and procedures.
- Experience supporting governance committees, such as boards, executive management, and regulators.
- Work autonomously, be the thought leader, and exercise expertise and judgment when creating solutions.
- Define priorities with little direction in collaboration with the Head of Risk.
- Apply a sophisticated approach to problem solving and determine methods and procedures on new assignments.
- Directly responsible for the entire lifecycle of ERM projects, processes, or tasks.
- Support audit and regulatory requests, including risk assessment summaries and remediation evidence.
- Very strong analytical skills with the ability to assess a wide range of topics and assess risk at both micro and macro levels.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory expectations and applicable regulations in risk management policies and strategies.
- Review the strategy of Anchorage Digital while developing the Enterprise Risk framework.
- Share knowledge amongst the team to avoid single points of failure.
- Communicate the ‘why’ behind the work related to Enterprise Risk Management.
- Communicate and escalate risk trends and risk management best practices.
- Contribute to cross-functional ERM projects and collaborate with various teams to solve problems.
- Break down large RCSA or Policy Review projects into smaller tasks and accurately estimate the time and scope of projects.
- Use compelling arguments to convey Risk Management and GRC insights and recommendations.
- Promote a positive working environment through proper listening, speaking, and empathy with team members.
Qualifications
- 10 - 15 years of work experience in the Financial Services industry.
- Subject Matter Expertise in Enterprise Risk Management.
- Excellent analytical skills.
