[Hiring] Freelance Video Editor @The Flex Company

Role Description

Flex is looking for a creative, efficient freelance video editor to elevate our short-form content across internal and external digital channels (inclusive, but not limited to Organic Social, E-commerce, and Paid Ads). You'll own the end-to-end editing process, from raw footage to polished, channel-ready videos, and you'll use AI-powered tools to maximize efficiency and output quality. This role is central to growing our brand presence and engagement through compelling, trend-forward content. This is a fully remote, part time contracted role (less than 30 hrs/wk).

Qualifications

• Experienced in both hi-fi and lo-fi content, educational & tutorial video, brand and campaign content, captions, title cards, blur effects, retouching, GIFs, and paid social video.
• Well versed in editing and iterating creator, influencer, and UGC-style content for CPG brands.
• Fluent in AI-powered editing tools (Runway, Descript, CapCut AI, Adobe Firefly, or similar) and use them by default.
• Fast, organized, and reliable with turnarounds.
• Open to feedback and easy to work with.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.

Requirements

• Include links to work samples that demonstrate UGC, educational/tutorial, and brand/campaign editing expertise.
• Work samples should show a range of hi-fi and lo-fi content experience with an emphasis on CPG brands.
• Paid social and AI tool experience is required.
