Role Description

We’re seeking an ambitious Design Engineer to join our team in rapidly iterating creative concepts into functional, high-quality interactive AI applications. This role involves close collaboration with our product, design, and engineering teams to integrate AI-driven features seamlessly into our platform.

Deep integration with AI STT and real-time streaming
React-native / Expo web and mobile apps
Indie dev / small team environment
Remote, flexible hours
Rapid Prototyping
Intuitive, user-friendly interfaces for AI-enabled applications using modern design tools and frameworks
Use AI IDEs to rapidly prototype and iterate designs based on user feedback and performance analytics
Build and maintain robust front-end components using modern web technologies (e.g., Next.js, React, TypeScript)
Work closely with backend and AI teams (e.g., Python-based AI services) to ensure seamless orchestration of features
Optimize performance for real-time rendering and interactivity across devices

Qualifications

Must be technical
Proven portfolio of beautifully-crafted applications or experiences
Design engineering, interactive UI/UX
Experience with 3D graphics, shaders, and animation a plus
Proficiency in modern web development frameworks (Next.js, TypeScript, etc.)
