[Hiring] CRO & UX Analyst @Hiregummy

Role Description

We are looking for an experienced CRO & UX Analyst to support a senior CRO specialist and founder on a daily basis. This is an analysis-focused role for someone who is highly curious, data-driven, and comfortable digging beyond surface-level metrics to understand why users behave the way they do. The ideal candidate can analyse GA4 data, conduct UX and heuristic reviews, use behavioural analytics tools, and triangulate insights across multiple data sources to identify genuine conversion opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• GA4 Analysis
  • Analyse GA4 data to identify where and why users drop off or convert.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities beyond surface-level metrics.
  • Turn data into clear, actionable CRO insights.
  • Hands-on GA4 analysis is essential; this is not a tracking or tagging setup role.
• UX & Heuristic Evaluation
  • Conduct heuristic evaluations of websites, landing pages, and conversion funnels.
  • Identify UX issues that may be impacting user experience and conversion rates.
  • Provide evidence-based recommendations for improvement.
• Behavioural Analytics
  • Analyse user behaviour through tools such as Contentsquare, Hotjar, FullStory, or similar platforms.
  • Review session recordings, heatmaps, click behaviour, and other behavioural data.
  • Use behavioural insights to validate or challenge findings from other data sources.
• Data Triangulation & Insights
  • Combine insights from GA4, heuristic reviews, and behavioural analytics rather than relying on a single source.
  • Investigate beyond the first obvious explanation to uncover the underlying issue.
  • Develop clear, evidence-based insights and recommendations.
  • Approach problems with genuine curiosity and a strong analytical mindset.
• Daily Collaboration
  • Work closely with the senior CRO specialist and leadership team.
  • Support ongoing CRO analysis, research, and client projects.
  • Maintain consistent communication and availability during agreed working hours.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in CRO, UX research, digital analytics, or a related field.
• Strong, hands-on GA4 analysis experience.
• Experience with Contentsquare, Hotjar, FullStory, or similar behavioural analytics platforms.
• Relevant certifications are highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of UX, conversion funnels, and user behaviour.
• Ability to interpret multiple data sources and connect the dots between them.
• Naturally curious and willing to investigate beyond the obvious answer.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with senior team members.
• Availability to overlap with Sydney working hours, including 2:00 PM AEST onwards.
