Role Description

As a Creative Technologist at Kyndryl Vital, you will:

• Collaborate with designers, engineers, and stakeholders to shape technical concepts aligned to human-centered design.
• Rapidly prototype interactive, testable experiences to drive alignment, learning, and value, including agentic AI-driven interactions.
• Apply emerging technologies to business challenges, including AI/ML/GenAI (including agentic AI), IoT, and immersive interfaces.
• Lead feasibility analysis and ethical review of technology choices, including agentic AI safety and governance considerations.

• Rapid Prototyping: You can create context-appropriate, low- to high-fidelity digital and physical prototypes.
• Human-in-the-Loop Patterns: You can design interaction patterns for approvals, escalation, rollbacks, and exception handling so agents act safely and users stay in control.
• Feasibility Analysis: You can assess design’s technical feasibility, system integration, and implementation pathways.
• Storytelling: You can translate prototypes and technical insights into compelling narratives.
• AI and Data Ethics: You leverage AI tools and data strategies with awareness of equity, bias, and transparency.
• Tool Building for APIs (Agent Tools): You can define and prototype lightweight “agent tools” that expose capabilities via APIs (REST/GraphQL).
• Front-End Engineering for Agentic Experiences: You can build modern web interfaces (e.g., React/TypeScript) that integrate with agentic systems.
• Agent Evaluation & Quality: You can define basic evaluation criteria for agent behavior (accuracy, reliability, safety, latency, and user trust).

Requirements

• 1-3+ years of relevant experience (dependent on level).
• Vertical domain experience (e.g., finance, retail, healthcare, industrial).
• Experience in both enterprise and agency worlds.
• Knowledge and experience in IT infrastructure, architecture, and platform capabilities.
• Background in behavioral science, change management, or design research.
• Applied or academic experience with data science, AI/ML, or HCI.
