Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Creative Director on a contract basis to lead the vision, design, and execution of interactive digital projects. You will be responsible for translating project briefs into compelling user experiences, maintaining a high standard of design quality, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to bring digital products and experiences to life. This role requires a balance of high-level strategic thinking and hands-on design execution, guiding creative strategy while maintaining direct involvement in key deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Creative Vision & Execution:
  • Define and drive the creative vision for digital and interactive projects from concept through final delivery.
  • Oversee visual design, user experience (UX), and interaction standards across all deliverables.
  • Remain hands-on in design and prototyping to shape key user flows.
• Client & Stakeholder Management:
  • Act as the primary creative point of contact for key stakeholders and enterprise clients.
  • Pitch concepts, articulate creative strategy, and present final deliverables.
  • Align creative output with client business goals, brand guidelines, and technical constraints.
• Team Leadership & Process:
  • Direct and mentor multi-disciplinary teams of designers, creative technologists, and producers.
  • Integrate modern tools and workflows—including AI-assisted design and rapid prototyping—to streamline production.
  • Partner with technical leads to ensure concepts are buildable within scope.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in a creative role focused on digital, interactive, or UX/UI design, including direct team management.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating excellence in concept development, visual design, and interaction design, with a track record of driving measurable user engagement.
• Proven experience working with enterprise tech clients and navigating complex corporate stakeholder environments.
• Willingness to be hands-on with standard industry design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud) alongside a solid understanding of software implementation and digital technical constraints.
• Practical experience integrating AI tools into the creative workflow for concepting, rapid prototyping, or content production.

Requirements

• This is a contract opportunity with an hourly commitment of 20-40 hours per week for 4-5 months.
