[Hiring] Workforce Analytics Consultant @BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee

Role Description

BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee is hiring a Workforce Analytics Consultant! In this fully-remote role, you’ll help modernize how workforce data is maintained, analyzed, automated, and delivered to leaders.

• Collecting data and analyzing workforce needs, systems, trends, and metrics.
• Providing reports and consultation to help management develop strategies and make business management decisions.
• Interpreting data and creating dashboards for management to identify key performance indicators and monitor productivity.
• Helping the organization understand the relationship between the workforce and business processes, issues, needs, and systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required. Equivalent experience is defined as 4 years of professional work experience in a corporate environment.
• 3 years of experience in proven quantitative and qualitative research required.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage recurring work, ad hoc requests, and competing priorities.
• Experience with HR, workforce analytics, finance, operations, or other people-related business data.
• Exposure to Databricks, Python, ETL processes, data pipelines, semantic models, or database tables.
• Excitement around report automation, scheduled refreshes, workflow automation, or process improvements.
• Experience documenting report logic, business definitions, processes, or data sources to support consistency and knowledge sharing.
• Comfort learning AI-enabled reporting features, Power BI/Copilot concepts, and/or governed self-service analytics tools.

Requirements

• Proficiency using SQL to extract, join, transform, validate, and/or summarize data for reporting or analysis.
• Proficiency with Excel for data review, validation, reconciliation, PivotTables, lookups, and recurring report support.
• Experience designing dashboards and reports with visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) with attention to audience needs, usability, and filters.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or function in a team environment sharing responsibility, roles, and accountability.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Must be a team player, be organized, and have the ability to handle multiple projects.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
