As part of our transformation, one of our key areas of focus is the modernization of our sales motions. The Global Enterprise Sales organization with a charter to achieve Microsoft and Customer business outcomes with a focus on Artificial Intelligence (AI), Copilot and Security.

As an AI Workforce Solution Area Specialist you will be a solution sales specialist within our enterprise sales organization, working closely with our most valued customers. You will collaborate with a virtual team of technical specialists, partners and consulting resources to advance the sales process and consistently exceed solution sales targets in your assigned accounts.

• Your role is pivotal in helping customers navigate their business challenges, recommending solutions tailored to their unique requirements, and securing new business that results in unparalleled customer value and satisfaction.
• You will play a vital role in driving business growth by generating pipeline, engaging with prospective clients, building relationships, and closing sales.
• Understanding customer pain points and industry requirements will be important to advise clients on how AI will enable a whole new way of working.
• You will demonstrate how these solutions can optimize workflows, enhance productivity, and improve employee engagement will be key to successfully promoting Microsoft's offerings and help organizations unlock the full potential of their workforce.
• You will drive the day-to-day execution of Microsoft's strategic business priorities, lead the generative AI narratives and sell cloud services and platforms to our managed customers.

Responsibilities

• Sales Execution: Collaborate with virtual team members end-to-end, to identify customer business needs and contribute to the development of solutions. Proactively build an external stakeholder network to accelerate and close AI Workforce opportunities.
• Business Value Selling: Deepen and broaden Microsoft’s relationships with Customer Business Decision Makers. Hunt new opportunities by engaging with key business contacts, understanding customers’ business and technological priorities, governance, decision-making, and budgeting processes, and articulating the value proposition of AI Workforce solutions.
• Scaling and Collaboration: Collaborate with a network of internal partners on the planning, orchestration and execution of opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell.
• Technical Expertise: Initiate conversations with AI Business Decision Makers, share practices and key competitor knowledge across solution areas to make recommendations on pursuit or withdrawal decisions.
• Sales Excellence: Collaborate with partners and resources to plan for accounts, conduct compete planning, forecasting, and business analysis to target high-potential customers and manage AI productivity solutions across your accounts.

Qualifications

• Required/minimum qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field AND 5+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience OR 6+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience.
• 2+ years of solution sales or consulting services sales experience.
• Additional or preferred qualifications:
• Master's Degree in Business Administration (e.g., MBA), Information Technology, or related field AND 5+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, or related field AND 6+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience OR 8+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience.
• 3+ years of solution sales or consulting services sales experience.

Requirements

• Digital Solution Area Specialists IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $40.96 - $80.96 per hour.
• There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $60.96 - $86.11 per hour.
