[Hiring] Senior Denodo Consultant @Talan

Role Description

We are looking for a Senior Denodo Consultant to join a project focused on data virtualization, data integration, and optimization of data solutions. The successful candidate will combine strong technical expertise with functional analysis skills, contributing to the design and development of data virtualization solutions while working closely with different stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into effective technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop data virtualization solutions using Denodo.
• Build and maintain abstraction and semantic layers.
• Develop and optimize queries to improve data access and performance.
• Perform functional analysis and requirements gathering.
• Lead and actively participate in workshops with business and technical stakeholders.
• Work with data models, databases, ETL processes, and BI solutions.
• Contribute to solutions across cloud and on-premises architectures.
• Participate in initiatives related to Data Governance, KPIs, and data management.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in consulting, ideally within data, BI, or data integration projects.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience developing data virtualization projects with Denodo.
• Experience developing abstraction and semantic layers.
• Experience with query optimization.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling, databases, ETL, and BI.
• Experience with functional analysis, requirements gathering, and workshops.
• Ability to work effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
• English: Professional working proficiency (B2+/C1).
• Spanish: Professional working proficiency (B2+/C1).

Requirements

• Advanced knowledge of VQL (Virtual Query Language).
• Denodo certification.
• Knowledge or experience in Data Governance.
• Previous experience in the banking sector.
• Experience working with cloud and on-premises data architectures.
