[Hiring] Data Engineer @The White Team

Role Description

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with strong expertise in Databricks to support the development and evolution of a Treasury Data Lake platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Designing, building, and optimizing data pipelines.
• Transforming data across a multi-layer architecture.
• Ensuring the availability, quality, and reliability of critical Treasury data assets.

Qualifications

• Certified Engineer degree (Bachelor’s degree alone is not sufficient).
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in Data Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Databricks.
• Professional level of English (C1).
• Practical experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies.

Requirements

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data ingestion pipelines from Treasury and enterprise source systems.
• Ensure efficient, secure, and reliable movement of data into the Treasury Data Lake.
• Implement and manage data transformations following the Medallion Architecture approach (Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers).
• Apply data cleansing, enrichment, and modeling best practices to improve data usability and consistency.
• Develop automated data quality checks, validation processes, monitoring mechanisms, and alerting solutions.
• Guarantee data integrity, accuracy, and reliability across the entire data lifecycle.
• Support downstream consumers by ensuring continuous availability and trustworthiness of datasets.
• Optimize data pipelines for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency within Databricks environments.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and support Treasury analytics and reporting initiatives.
• Apply AI-related knowledge and tools where relevant to data engineering use cases and platform improvements.
