Role Description
We are looking for a skilled Power Query Developer to join our team and contribute to excellence in data-driven decision-making, with a primary focus on Power Query in Excel.
- Develop and optimize advanced Power Query solutions using custom M Language, primarily within Excel.
- Design and implement KPI dashboards with a focus on automation and efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions in Excel.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across reports and dashboards.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience with Power Query and custom M Language development, with a strong focus on Excel.
- Strong background in KPI dashboard design, development, and automation, especially within Excel.
- Proficiency in DAX and experience with Power BI is an added benefit.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, with extensive use of Power Query.
- Strong Design Experience will be advantageous.

- Excellent written English skills – Ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented – Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining focus and quality.
- Strong time management skills – Capable of prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative mindset – Works well within a team while also being able to take ownership of projects.
Benefits
- This role requires you to work EST hours Mon - Fri from 9am to 6pm EST (15h00 to 24h00 South African time - subject to change dependant on daylight savings).
- A fixed fibre line with a minimum speed of 25 Mbps (upload & download) and the ability to support a wired Ethernet connection is mandatory.
- A reliable power backup solution is required to manage load shedding and power outages.
- This is a remote role for South African Citizens only.
