Role Description

As a Business Intelligence Analyst IV, a senior individual contributor role, you will use data to shape business strategy and improve performance across multiple teams. You will partner with senior leaders to help define priorities and deliver clear, actionable recommendations.

• Design, build, and own scalable analytics solutions end to end, from data models and SQL to the dashboards and metrics teams rely on.
• Own complex, cross-functional data initiatives, define how key metrics are measured, and set technical standards for data quality, performance, and documentation.
• Communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership.
• Mentor other analysts, review SQL and analyses, and raise the bar on analytical rigor.
• Lead the team's use of AI tools and automation, establishing best practices and building reusable workflows that make BI more efficient and scalable.

Qualifications

• Requires a Master’s degree with a minimum of 8 years of experience; or a PhD with a minimum of 5 years experience.
• Proven ability to combine strategic thinking with tactical execution.
• Demonstrated ability to autonomously navigate high ambiguity and prioritize across multiple concurrent cross-team initiatives.
• Expert-level experience writing and optimizing complex SQL across large, distributed datasets.
• Advanced experience with programming languages (e.g., Python) for data analysis, transformation, automation, and statistical modeling.
• Expertise with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and designing intuitive, scalable reporting solutions.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, and data pipeline concepts.
• Experience mentoring analysts and elevating team capabilities and standards.

Requirements

• Own the design and development of scalable dashboards, reports, and data products that serve as trusted sources of truth for business decision-making.
• Drive complex, cross-functional analyses of large datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and root causes, and translate them into strategic recommendations.
• Partner with senior leaders to shape business questions, define key metrics and KPIs, and translate them into analytical approaches and technical requirements.
• Design and oversee testing and measurement strategies, including A/B testing and causal inference methods.
• Establish standards for data quality, validation, and documentation, and lead improvements to data processes and tools.
• Present findings, recommendations, progress, and risks to senior leadership to drive alignment and influence decisions and priorities across teams.
• Mentor and coach other analysts, provide technical guidance and code/analysis reviews.
