Role Description

The Warranty Inquiry Correspondence Assistant is responsible for assisting customers with warranty-related inquiries. This remote assistant role involves:

• Providing customers with the published process for warranty inquiries.
• Gathering basic information requested by the company.
• Sending inquiries to the appropriate reviewer.
• Ensuring a clear and respectful first exchange with customers.
• Maintaining a usable record of customer information.

Key responsibilities include:

• Reading assigned warranty-related emails and online forms.
• Locating relevant published guidance for product categories.
• Requesting approved missing details without unnecessary information.
• Connecting photos and order references to the correct case.
• Explaining the submission process in plain language.
• Passing claims and policy exceptions to the authorized reviewer.
• Recording the current status and next owner of each inquiry.
• Following privacy and attachment rules for customer materials.

No warranty industry experience is required. Prior customer service or office administration experience is useful, but a beginner who reads carefully and writes clearly can learn the work. The employer will provide training on product categories, standard guidance, and limits of authority.
