Role Description

The Callback Preference Assistant is responsible for managing customer callback preferences and ensuring clear communication between customers and specialists. This part-time remote role involves:

• Asking customers when they can be reached and recording that preference in the online case.
• Providing a clear handoff to the specialist without promising specific callback times.
• Handling written customer service and careful office administration.
• Following verification instructions if a customer changes their contact number.
• Communicating approved alternatives if the specialist cannot meet the suggested time.

Qualifications

• Customer service or office administration experience is helpful but not required.
• Comfortable writing short messages and reading dates carefully.
• A beginner who knows when to ask a question can do well here.

Requirements

• Review assigned online cases awaiting a specialist callback.
• Ask for a useful contact window through approved email wording.
• Record the preferred number, time, and stated time zone.
• Distinguish a suggested window from a confirmed call.
• Update a changed preference in the same case.
• Route urgent concerns under the employer's escalation rules.
• Keep a visible owner for follow-up.
